After I finished writing my essays, I realized there is a motif in those 5 pieces of writings. There are also events that I cross-reference in those essays

I heared that essays should be unique, should tell the adcom something that they don't already know.

Here's my dilemma. If I leave the motifs in, I guess it would give my entire application a more coherent feel. But should I be new, with each essay/miniessay telling something completely different about my character?
