Should i nag my teachers to make sure they sent in the recs?

Don't nag them. Thank them for taking the time to write it, tell them you understand everyone else is requesting a letter, and then politely remind them of the due dates. Do this no more than every two weeks, until the last week, and then ask them for a date that you can pick up the sealed envelope.

Not always, some just return it in a signed, sealed envelope for you to mail.
