I'm applying to Rice. Is Interim decision the same thing as early action, and if so, will Rice allow me to apply early action to another college?

Interim Decision is kind of like Early Action. It is different because it has a later due date than the typical early action program. If you apply Interim Decision to Rice, you can still apply to other schools early unless that school has an Single Choice Early Action/Decision policy because they will view applying ID to Rice as a violation of the Single Choice agreement.

You might want to check out their forum on the "Individual Schools" board to find out more Rice info.
