If a School offers to buy you a plane ticket (and i dont live that far away) does that mean they really want you? or is a regularly common occurrence.
im perplexed b/c ive met the admissions director but they have no other info about me yet, such as transcript, sat, whatever.
should i read into this at all?

I don't think it's very common unless they are recruiting you for some specific reason. Are you a URM or athlete?
