my college counselor told me i should be getting something about this soon...last may. i have yet to recieve anything.

is anyone else a national hispanic merit scholar? did you get any info yet??

Yes, I think I am a National Hispanic Scholar, but, like you, my counselor hasn't given me anything this year. Last year, I went in to give her permission to use my name and verify I was at least 25% Hispanic, but other than that, nothing this year. The only reason I know is from college letters that congratulate me.

i haven't gotten any college mail saying anything about it, all i had was a 30 second conversation...:-/

Mr Pancake, the rules for the NHRP clearly state that you must have a parent who is 100% Hispanic, i.e. you must be at least 50% Hispanic
