Physics sucks hardcore, but if you really need help, invest in the Peterson's AP Review book, its like 10-15 bucks...

Isn't it a bit early to sink into despair? The school year just started. Have you considered staying after school for additional instruction or forming a study group with some who are doing well in AP Physics?

Keep your chin up. You have it in you to succeed. This is just a minor bump in the road.

Go buy Cracking the AP Physics C by Princeton Review. That book is a life saver.

boatboat-couldn't you withdraw from the class?

Get extra help from your teacher. If this happened to you while in college, you would go to office hours, right? So get extra help after school, during lunch or a free hour, whenever!

Hey guys
Thanks for all the advice....i have tried to get help from the teacher but that is not working out so well...i am at the point where I really don't like even want to ask my teacher questions I am so annoyed by him. Unfortunately I cannot withdraw from the class so i just gotta find a way to make it work.

ap phys sucks. I would say read ur textbook, outline it, and study like crazy. Going to the teacher always helps, but not if he or she is really annoying or unhelpful or inarticulate (like my phys teacher tends to be...). Or u can get help from the people in your class.

C- isn't really failing...it's a C-...In my class for AP Physics the first test 4 people passed the test with a C or better, everyone else Failed with F's...that's like 15 people that failed with an F...no worries

hrm i took AP phys C last year... i have to say it is probably one of the hardest classes that you can possibly take in a highschool curriculum.

If you got a C- on the first test and are extremely worried, perhaps you should drop the class because chapter 4 (motion in three directions) is where it starts getting intense.
