If you went to Brown this past summer, Jnorsky, I hope you weren't one of the people who attacked an admissions office tour of the place.

I went to a math program at Hampshire College. While Hampshire itself is not a fit for me, I learned a remarkable amount of math there, almost all of it college level, and had tons of fun. It also gave me a very real taste of college food, dorms, and various other aspects of college life.

Attacking admissions tours? In what way? I was at Brown this summer. Some people yelled random stuff about the college being bad to the visitors (ok, I admit i was one of those) but I didn't see anything that would constitute an attack.

If good colleges like Duke (talent search) and Cornell send you Pre-college programs catalog and application does that mean they are interested in you?

I mean that when I visited Brown, the tour guide said that while a bunch of prospective Brown undergrads were going on a tour of the place, a bunch of people from the summer program came up and started yelling at all of the people on the tour and generally freaking them out. Perhaps "attack" was too strong a word..."scare the living daylights out of", maybe.
