I am taking 6 AP classes and I would LOVE to make the 7 th period a study. How much better would it look if I filled it with an easy class. I could do this but obviously I prefer the study.

Math
English
History
Science
Arts
Language
Sounds plenty to me- take the study hall

Take a study hall. You have a difficult enough schedule. Most schools don't list that you took a study hall. It would just appear as if you had 6 periods.
