What would be your best suggestion for an ind. study AP? It probably couldn't be too hard, and cannot be one I have already taken/am taking (US Hist., Bio., US Gov., Comp Sci AB., Eng. Comp., Art Hist., Modern Euro Hist., Spanish, Eng. Lit., BC Calc.).

Thanks for any advice!

Environmental Science/Comparative Gov't/Stats.

I did it for French Language, and passed. I WOULDN'T do it for subjects that go incredibly in-depth and are complicated. Others would be ok.

What about these... especially if you have taken them please describe!

-Human Geography
-Economics (Macro or Micro?)
-Evironmental Sci (see below)
-Comp. Gov.
(were mentioned above but does anyone have more info about their difficulty, etc.)

Statistics is a good AP to self study for because

1) It's pretty easy, especially if you've already had BC Calc

2) You won't miss out on much by not taking this class in college

Tends (TENDS! I MAY BE WRONG :-p) to be that most half year courses for the Advanced Placement program are easier to self-study. Why isn't calc ab considered half year though?

Stats would be really easy... I took a non-AP stats course in which we did basically nothing and I studied myself for the the AP exam and got a 5... very easy exam.

unfortunately the only ones I can do are these, as our school won't let us indepandant study somthing that is already a class, and because I want to to be an official class on my record, it must be one of these (the one's our school does not offer)

-Human Geography
-Economics (Macro or Micro?)
-Evironmental Sci (see below)
-Comp. Gov.

comp. government might be tricky just because there seems to be a lack of any prep books. and it's such a broad subject (even when you limit it to the 5 countries). . .i took the class and we didn't even really cover the right things for the exam. but i don't know, because i did surprisingly well on the exam (really, i was shocked, the curve on the essays must be crazy).

The us gov (not comp gov) is really easy, and psych isnt too hard.

I got 4s on both of them and i took them independent study.

But do economics if youre good with social science. I'm planning on it.
