My stats: GPA = 3.5 UW, SAT = 1400, havent taken the MOST rigourous classes, but rigorous ones (not taking BC CALC or AP physics). I have worked throughout high school, been really involved in band throughout. I dont have anything really that stands our a ton thought, but I want to go to STANFORD really badly. I have a few other things I've done too, but nothing extremely amazing. I am a really good essay writer.

Should i apply ED or EA to Stanford if I REALLY want to go to the school? I feel stupid even considering it. I'm not a minority. i'm not a legacy or anyhting. I live in California. What should I do

It's a toss-up.

The odds aren't very good, to be honest. However, I have seen some incredibly unqualified people get in ED (it's EA now) to Stanford (I'm not saying that you're unqualified!). Your odds will hinge more on your recs and essay, more than anything else. You'll have to make your essay really stands out, because right now, there isn't much the AdCom can look at. There's always a chance, though. Work hard and good luck!
