i have lived in australia for almost 8 years, but i was born in korea, although my mentality is totally western.
does this mean im considered a minority since australias=minority, or not because asians=not a minority ?
(us asians are too smart for our own good ^^)

Not. You need to be an underrepresented minority (ethnic group) and simply being from a foreign country that does not provide many applicants to a US school doesn't make it.

Nope, neither Koreans nor Australians are considered minorites.
