Both my mother and father went to the same college. This particular college does not have the best reputation and is known for being a somewhat weak institution. It is also well known for accepting anybody and everybody. If a college's application asks for my parents' college experience, would the fact that they went to a not-so-great school in any way affect my chances of admission?

There are two ways in which your parents' college can HELP you:
1 - If you're a legacy, obviously.
2 - If neither of your parents attended college (therefore you being the first one in your family)
I can't think of any way in which you'd be hurt by where your parents went to college.

I didn't think it would hurt me. I just wanted to verify it. Thanks.
