Hi! I was thinking of topics for my Georgetown essay on an international issue of choice. I didn't want to do the obvious, like going to war in Iraq, but I still wanted to talk about terrorism, so I chose "How to Revise U.S. Policy Toward Failed States in a Post 9/11 World." I just cite examples from Somalia, Afghanistan (in the 80s), East Timor, Zimbabwe, et cetera, and go through certain things we should change. Is this a good topic? I wanted to be a little unique. Thanks!
