Mr. Berry,
i recently applied to U penn early d. i am a high school senior from hong kong. i have an 1380 sat (690 v, 690 m) and 680 writing, 680 2c, 790 chinese sat 2s. solid recs and solid ecs. what are my chances? and will they be lessened by the fact that 3 other people from my grade are applying ed? also, how seperate are wharton and the college when it comes to admissions? 2 of the 3 are applying to wharton, will they only accept 2 into wharton and none into the college? (those applying to wharton have stronger scores and grades)
and last question, i am having my interview tomorrow. how important is the interview to penn?
thanks alot.

I'm not Dave Berry, but in general interviews at elite colleges aren't hugely important unless you really acquit yourself poorly. The schools are more interested in your academic record and your accomplishments. Don't sweat the interview too much - just be friendly, ask some good questions, and demonstrate that you are familiar with the school and have good reasons for wanting to go there. Good luck!
