Most posters say they have good letters of recommendation. I'm worried, because at my school we are not allowed to see the letters. I have only asked teachers in whose classes I have received a grade of A, but I still am not sure that the letters will be more than perfunctory. When I asked a teacher, she said in a snippy way that I would get "what I deserved." I go to a large public school. The fact that I scored well on the SAT I (800V and 760M) and am applying to very competitive schools seems to cause my teachers to sneer at me. Does anyone else have this sort of problem?
