I have read a couple of your posts, and think your fairly knowledgable. So, I want to ask what you think selective colleges would think of an improving school record.
Freshman
1st Sem. 2.706
2nd Sem. 3.118
Sophomore
1st Sem. 3.706
2nd Sem. 3.882
Junior
1st Sem. 4.0
2nd Sem. 3.875
So totally I have a 3.54 QGPA and if I maintain my grades I could get it up to a 3.7 by the send of this year. Also, my school is rural and has no honors/AP courses.

What selective college do you think would be impressed by the improvement? Yale was on my mind but I'm not too sure.

You are definitely on the right track with the rising GPA, Chaser. Some schools, like Princeton, ignore freshman year entirely. Others will discount early grades when subsequent performance is strong. IMO, your GPA alone won't be a barrier to any competitive school. On the other hand, recognize that even with a 4.0 GPA you still have to have some combination of outstanding test scores and great extracurriculars. Good luck!
