Are they very important? I'm taking Fundamentals of Psychology and Beginning Fiction at Harvard right now and I'm probably getting an A in both classes. Are those grades going to help my chances substantially?

What if I'm a rising junior? This is the first year that they've ever had rising juniors (although they might not have it in the future because the kids suck) and they're still real classes.

i doubt that will make much of a difference. One way to try to make it a really profitable experience in terms of college admissions is to woo one of the professors and get a fantastic rec from him/her.
