I know it may not be a unque essay topic, but I wanted to write an essay about my move in my junior year from a top, competitive college prepartory school in the heart of Boston, to a "not so academic" inner city school in southern FL. In the essay I wanted to highlight how in my previous school I was focused solely on academics, and had a sheltered life, and how I was resentful to the move, yet how my character developed and I matured greatly in Florida because I became involved in creating programs to create health and education awareness and better the community.

Ok i know I wrote some run-on sentences here, but I'm in a hurry and have to go to work, so tell me what you think about this essay topic. If you can help me out, I was planning to post my resume later to get feedback. Thanks!
