If i don't get a good score, should i retake the SAT I's in Nov. and forget about taking the II's? I'm set to take the II's, but i hear SAT I is more important. I have a 1380 SAT I, US HIstory 690, IC 720, and Bio 740...if i don't get above 1450 i am considering taking the test again. Should i try taking the sunday exam? if so how do i go about trying to get a sunday date? ty

I'm applying to Harvard/Stanford early, and a bunch of otherschools in the same tier for regular, but i am most concerned about early. stanford doesn't / may not consider Nov scores, and they don't require SAT II's (though strongly recommended), however Harvard will consider November scores. I don't know what's more important, SAT I's or II's, although I've heard about how important II's are, I'm not sure... should i get standby registration on the NOv. 3 (sunday?) ty

If you are applying to Stanford early decision, you cannot apply to any other early program.

Should I take the SAT II C as a sophomore and risk getting lower than a 700 or should I wait. I know most schools require three SAT II's???

well, i didn't disclose anything else so how would you know whether i had a chance? i DO know these are only test scores, and this is a post strictly about test scores. and by the way, you can apply to both early. i asked the collegeboard and they said i would need a religious reason, and i can't take tests on both days (they would only count one day).

don't listen to him, test scores are only one factor in a variety of factors

SATs and SAT IIs are not that important. GPA is much more important, and the averages that colleges post are higher by about 50 points because of their strategic sampling methods, trust me, my cousin works on the harvard admissions board and told me that this applies for all IVY league schools!
