Do colleges like it if you apply online or by mail? Or do they just not care?

If the college accepts online applications, they do so very happily! I would prefer an online application if I was an adcom officer because they're easier to read (no sloppy hand writing) and look neater. Choose whichever you want - it will not have a bearing on your admission decision, unless you apply by mail and write sloppily/carelessly.
