when would you guys reccomend starting to study for the SATs. do you believe if you were to start studying in earlier grades such as freshman or sophmore year they would be much easier. what are the best ways to study for the english/writing/verbal sections?

Just take tons of practice tests. I took a few practice tests and raised my score like like 140 pts, you just have to get to know the test. When you take the practice tests, make sure you note what you did wrong, so hopefully it won't happen the next time. So pick up a book like 10 real sats..
