Hi, I will be a senior at a california high school this fall... and I am so SCARED about college. See, I did pretty well freshman, sophmore, and even 1st semester junior year. But 2nd semester- I really screwed up. I was so stressed about getting a B in really really tough honors course, that I didn't focus enough on other classes, and my transcript ended up looking like this:

French 5 AP - B
Honors Chem - B
Honors english - A
Honors precalc - B
choir - A
History - B

I have NEVER had that many B's in my life!!

(Also- I would have taken AP History ..but thought it might be too challenging... but then I actually got stuck with 1 of the toughest history teachers at my school, who treated our class like an AP class anyway! )

These are my classes for senior year (which I hope to get all A's in )-

French 6 AP
physics
AP Calc
honors english
choir
AP economics
AP statistics

SAT score- 1300 (I will re-take in the fall)

My question is: What UC schools do I have a chance of getting into? What other colleges do I have a chance at?

Relax. As long as your overall GPA is still above 3.0 you still have a shot at most of the UC's, especially UCDavis, UCSanta Barbara, UC Santa Cruz UC Irvine and UC Riverside. Your SAT scores are very competive for these schools, some of which actually have median SATs way below 1300. Good luck!

Ya you have a good shot at UCSB, UCI, UCD, UCSC, and UCR. Raise you SAT and you would make yourself a strong candidate for Berkeley, UCLA, and San Diego.
