Do admissions officers keep a record of what e-mails and contacts you have made with the admissions office before you apply. Do they document your contacts and see it as dedication to their school. I have heard from some people that this is true. ANyone else heard this before?

Won't help you much, won't hurt you either. If you got the time to kill and you really have some good questions to ask, go ahead. Otherwise don't bother.
