At two of my college interviews the AD counselors made it clear that the difficulty of the classes was more important then grades. An A in AP was number one but an AP B was better then an A in regular. Said that a 4.00 student without Calculus, Physics, and Advanced English would rate far behind a student with a 3.8 who avoided them

Mike, what if I can't take physics b/c college-credit physics is at the same time as AP Spanish? I am taking AP bio instead. I cannot take regular physics cos it's @ the same time as AP bio & I'd rather take an AP course than a non-AP course. Is it ok that I didn't take a physics when I will have taken AP Chem (scored a 5), AP Bio, & APs in all academic areas.

i've heard several times that physics (AP or otherwise) is something colleges look for as a big plus on your transcripts. And since you've already taken AP Chem, and are taking several other APs, i would take honors physics, or whichever fits your schedule. Or there's always the option of taking a physcis class at a local JC, if time permits.
