I was looking through my friends mail..he is my neighbor though and i'm pretty much family (yeah i'm basically a snoop). Anyways I noticed he got an application from Yale, does that mean he'll more than likely get into Yale? This guy has a perfect academic record and plays sports on top of it, not too much he is the president of like 3 different clubs, I mean he seems like a shoe-in at any university in the nation. But he'll probably choose Berkeley over any school. Anyways..so does that application mean Yale wants him?

No, that just means he returned an info card or somehow got onto Yale's mailing list.
