My school just started to weight GPA's and I think it weighs by the "UC System", meaning it only weighs like 3 honors classes total
I've heard most private schools reweigh your GPA. Would they count the honors classes I've taken?
Also I've heard some schools give 6 points for an AP class and 5 points for an Honors class. That really makes your GPA skyrocket.

your GPA won't be compared to those at other schools anyway. so ignore the "some schools" =)
