i never held an "official job" but i have consistantly babysat and mowed the lawn over the summer. It's was somewhat professional because i printed out ads and stuff. Do i put these in the employment part of my application?
thx

"Baby sitting and lawn mowing jobs obtained through a self-designed advertising campaign."

or even better switched around:
"A self-designed advertising campaign resulted in many baby sitting and lawn mowing jobs."
(if you believe, as I, that the advertising was nearly as important a lesson as the actual jobs)

"self-designed" sounds weird.

How about calling the jobs "child care" and "yard maintenance"? *grin*

Hey - if you transplanted and/or removed dead plants, it might be "landscaping!"
