I live in California, and here affirmative action has been banned in public universities. A girl from my school didn't get into UCLA or UC Berkeley from in state, but did get into Harvard, Georgetown and Brown. Hmm......

Funny? No, just cynical!
How about Chinese, Korean, Spanish SAT2 that count for a mountain of points in the UC system and are EASILY aced by "native speakers". This all but eliminate the SAT1 scores?
Even $500,000 from a wealthy sponsor -a la Korean multinational- wont be able to come up with a African-American counterpart.
