Hi, I am from INDIA and applying to MIT, Princeton, Caltech and Stanford. My SAT I scores are Math 800, verbal 660. SAT II scores are Math IIc 800, physics 800. But my only worry is my SAt II writing 610. I have a TOEFL score of 293/300. I know that all these colleges are highly selective I want to know my chances of getting admitted. I was top 1% in both physics and Chemistry olympiad for whole of India and winner of best experient in chemistry at national level. Will these have an impact?

Hey, I am applying from a British school and likewise am applying to the 4 you are. Well done on the SAT scores, they are really good. I have the same problem, my forte is maths and though I haven't taken the SAT it is the verbal part that is the weaker.

However, don't worry at all about your writing as they like those who are very good in the math/physics area and not necessary English writing. You have a very good chance, of getting into one of the four...

Are your extra-curriculars any good?
By the way, where in India are you from, having lived in Bombay for 3 yrs myself.

Hi!
I'm an international student from Singapore.
currently taking my A-level. I'm applying to the US(regular action).
Here are my stats:
I got 1420(M-800, V-620) for my SAT I(retaking this Dec)
I just got my SAT II results;
Writing-730
Math II C-800
Chemistry-750

Been gettin straight As for school's exams.

Rank- top 3% in my school of 800 students
lots of Maths award and Gold award for community service, with pretty good ECs.

What r my chances at UC Berkeley, Stanford, MIT?
Will me being an international student affect my chances?
Your candid comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
