duke is definitely harder to get in

Duke is very well known school and has a great tradition of excellence. Wash state seatle i don't know much about and i am sure more than half of the people here don't know much about it either. That should tell u something about the scholl with respect to comparing them.

i think he/she meant washington univ. in st louis not wash state seatle... sorry, correct me if i'm wrong....

Besides, Washington State U is nOt in Seattle- it's in Spokane/ Pullman, WA. U of WA is in Seattle. and don't dis Seattle-- UW is one of top 50 of U.S. News list. UW is one of best, esp. in medical -- nationally kNoWn.
