I was just wondering, if you wrote an admissions essay which is rich with cynicism and very crude, do you think you have a chance of getting in based purely on your attitude? Im saying this considering you have decent grades, e.g. above 1350 on SATs. I frankly believe its an interesting concept and although the university might just think your a lunatic, might they not think it would just be entertaining to admit you? I really don't think i have a shot at schools like Harvard or Princeton (considering my SAT is hopefully above 1400) and my total IB score is not more than 42 points (+ lots of EC's) so im considering doing this just for a shot in the dark (and partially for kicks :P)
Just tell me if you think this post is completely retarded or whether the essay actually has a good chance of getting me into a university......
Thanks

No. To tell you the truth. It might be interesting, but it probably wouldn't work.
Colleges don't like that.

I agree with noodles. Not so much based on cyanicism, a little, appropriately applied can be extremely humorous. However, an essay dripping with cyanicism would reflect a seriously negative attitude which would not be desired.
