Hey! i have a college application question (i am not very near starting them or anything..i just finished sophomore year)
But, just out of curiosity
Obviously i know schools are interested in what extracurriculars you do...teams you are on, clubs you are in, leadership roles etc...
but say you do an activity, just for fun, but aren't on a club/team for it or antyhing. Example, i go shooting w/ my dad frequently. Does all that sort of stuff count?

You can write about it in the essay if you feel that it's an important part of who you are that you would want the admission officers to consider. The Harvard grad who interviewed my daughter said that someone who got in was unique because because he was a falcon handler. So you never know.

you can add it into the EC's because i think it says sports, activities, jobs, and HOBBIES. so that would be a hobby and you can put it in.

There is always the interview to bring it up. You can always (and it's a good idea to do this anyway) attach a complete resume to your application, with jobs, sports, leadership, and hobbies.
