I'm in the dark about alot of transfer stuff so help would be appreciated. I'm a junior college student, I have a 3.53 GPA and I'm about 4 units away from completing IGETC. Unfortunately, due to some bad counseling, even though I wanted to major in CIS I didn't start my math until late. So I have all the programming requirements met to transfer as a CIS major, but the math is just starting (second semester calculus).

So, my questions: what UCs should I be looking at? How hard is it to get in as a CIS major at the UCs, and where is a good source of information for this? Is it possible to transfer as another major and switch after I've been admitted(this has been suggested by others, but I'm unclear how it works) or should I just tough it out and complete all the math? thanks
