Archimedes: Am I correct in believing this is a name change? If so, I like the new name, but not the new attitude.

Ha. Too bad I don't care. How about you STFU and go talk to your daddy...I'm not going to read, nor am I going to weep. You know why? Because only n00bs would pay extra money to get their scores early...
By Dwayne_Hoover (Dwayne_Hoover) on Saturday, May 17, 2003 - 12:51 pm: Edit
archimides, i've seen u post on dozens of threads about this score...who really cares, and why do you care? its so insignificant..and you don't need that great of a vocabulary to get a high verbal score...really--you morons who waste 100 hours studyign 2000 word list are really moronic.
By O71394658 (O71394658) on Saturday, May 17, 2003 - 01:09 pm: Edit
I agree with Hoover. I bet you studied for 3 hours every day. Get a life, dude. If you're that excited over SAT scores, then you must not have much else to brag about...
By Kalitiha (Kalitiha) on Saturday, May 17, 2003 - 01:48 pm: Edit
Kali tihi....but it's not amazingly impressive. I jumped my score from 1390 to 1470 (not as big as yours, granted) just because my math went from 590 to 670 in one month. The reason? Pacing, not extra skill.
Which part of Chicago? My godfather (how do you spell nuno?) lives in Park Ridge.

I didn't study jack for the SAT. You know what I did? I played Max Payne.

It's cool you improved your score that much in 1 month's time. Did you screw up the first time? Or did you just outperform yourself the second time?
It's funny how you're flaunting your 1510 around, as I'm sure there are many people on this board who have better heh.

I agree with young, it looks like you're flaunting you scores. And if you're using them as an excuse, it won't work.
p.s stop whinning, no one feels bad.

you people studying for SAT's are stupid.
go study something really useful or go smoke a joint to calm down instead! ure stressing too much over trivial matters!
SAT word lists are for losers/ morons.
No serious institution will care about whether u got a 1300 or 1500, if u are a truly great person, well- rounded and all.
HYP reject more than half of the people with perfect SAT's.
And believe me, when someone gets a 1100 fist time and then *miraculously* brings it up to 1590 they KNOW you've practiced and that you're NOT a genius as you'd like to claim.
By Eridais54 (Eridais54) on Sunday, May 25, 2003 - 11:48 pm: Edit
I did worse on my SAT than on my PSAT
Went from 1260 to 1240... I was hoping to get at least 1350
so everyone stop complaining!

Sybil...I think that college's would take an increase from 1100 to 1590 as more of a positive thing rather than a negative thing. There's nothing wrong with studying towards a score increase. After all, it exhibits a certain degree of dedication and the willingness to work towards a goal. Granted, most institutions will still reject you if you're not well-rounded, but improving your score can only help.
