I have a 3.0 gpa but a 1500 sat, so i would obviously like to find a school that likes a good sat score.
I'm looking for a bottom tier 1 or tier 2 school with a good business program.
Are there any colleges known for still relying heavily on SATs?

No, they usually look at the whole package. As studies have shown that one's SAT score is directly related to one's IQ, a 3.0 GPA just makes you look like a slacker.
But, a high SAT alone will get you into an honors program at a state university.

Stanford is BIG on SATs still. They grade you on an Academic Index of 1-6 (1 being the best). This decision is made primarily out of your SAT score. If your grades are bad, they might drop it to a 2.

yeah, but i had a 1560 and 4.0 unweighted gpa (total of 14 ap's taken) and still got rejected by stanford, despite above average ec's. guess it was the asian factor.

I had a 1550 and 3.93 unweighted and didn't get into stanford.

First tier colleges look at the whole package, but public schools rely heavily on SATs.
