I'm not going to college this year,I might apply to college next year. I hear Mount Holyoke is the only school with an SAT-optional policy. Is that true? It sounds to good to be true. But if it is true I'll most definitly apply.

There are other schools with no-SAT or SAT-optional policies as well.

Mount Holyoke is part of the Five College Consortium along with Smith, Amherst, Hampshire, and UMass Amherst, which creates a wide variety in course offerings. The campus is very pretty but it was just too rural (small town) for my city-kid daughter.

It's not as competitive as Amherst or Smith to get into and I think it's probably a little more laid back. It's also one of the few colleges with riding stables.

I heard there are lots of lesbians at Mount Holyoke.

Not to offend that institute....but you might want to get more feedback from the studnets at that school.

I'd rather prefer you go to Brandeis or Boston College.

Brandeis is famous for its unhappy students, and Boston College is way, way, way overrated and for kids trying to escape New Jersey.
