Should I attach letters of proof from places that I volunteered and for how long with my application?

That's not necessary, AnnJoLi. Colleges normally accept your word for this, although they might check with your guidance counselor if something looked odd. However, if you have someone you worked with in a volunteer position who could write a really great letter of recommendation, you might consider asking them to do that.
