Um, I'm going to USC's Annenberg School of Communications...basically, my other option was UCLA. The program that I got into at SC has a similar acceptance rate to that of UCLA, so they're at the same level.
I'm double majoring in broadcast journalism and internation relations, with a pre-professional emphasis on pre-law. If ya wanna check the factors that helped me decide, then just go to my post about "The never ending debate...UCLA or USC?"

Hash,
If you still care, I chose Pomona because of the reasons you listed (Wash U is way too close to home, and I think its good to be independent somewhere else - also about 15 ppl from my school go there every year and I know about 70 others from there). Pomona also has great academics and I really like have small classes and an intimate atmosphere. I think the consortium around Pomona also lets me have the benefits of a larger university, both socially and academically. I didn't think Emory had as much of an intellectual atmosphere, even though the campus is beautiful and though it has great facilities and access to certain organizations. I didn't like the quarter system at Northwestern, and I haven't hear too many great things about it. Plus, the weather at Pomona is a lot better than at Northwestern
. But seriously, Wash U is a great school - I'd be going there if it were somewhere else instead of St. Louis. Hope you have fun next year. If you want to IM me about Wash U, my SN is Draqe13
