I think I may be overestimating my competativeness in the applicant pool a great deal at more than a few of these schools. Did I select too many reaches? If anyone could help me put this in perspective, I'd really appreciate it.
GPA: 93%
ACT: 30 (retaking in October)
class rank: 86 of 296
I go to one of the top public schools in the state in the suburbs of upstate New York.
AP/IB/Honors/College credit courses:
Honors English
IB English HL/1
IB English HL/2
IB Spanish SL/1
IB Spanish SL/2
IB Economics SL
AP Psychology
AP European History
Anatomy and Physiology (college credit)
AP Microeconomics (independent study)
AP Macroeconomics (independent study)
ECs:
JV Soccer (9th grade)
JV Basketball (10th grade)
Club Soccer (8 years, played through 10th grade)
Club Lacrosse (9th grade)
S.A.D.D.
NHS
Spanish Club
Photography
Church volunteer (~60 hours)
Other volunteer work (~20 hours)
The sports were short lived due to various injuries as well as the fact that if I saw another soccer or basketball, I'd go crazy. The passion was gone so I figured it would be best to just stop rather than continue and loathe them.
Schools:
Tufts
Wesleyan University
NYU
Carleton College
Colgate
McGill
Boston College
Hamilton
Boston University
Macalester
Oberlin
Villanova
Skidmore
Pitzer
SUNY Geneseo
SUNY Stony Brook
I'm currently deciding between Wesleyan and Tufts for ED but I'm not too confident in my chances at either ED. I've visited Wesleyan twice and I'm visiting Tufts for the second time this weekend. By Monday I'll have chosen which one gets ED...
Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you! Also, any suggestions for good matches or safeties are more than welcome.
Thanks again!

You should be accepted at at least five of these schools. If you like all your listed schools it doesn't make much difference how many reaches you have, as long as you have the time to do high-quality apps to all the schools on your list.

I think SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Stony Brook and BU General Studies could be safety/ matches so you should be ok.

Might want to look at Holy Cross-which is very similar to Colgate.
