Which is a better school for computer engineering?
California Institute of Technology or the Carnegie Institute of Technology. (woah, I just noticed both are CIT)

The Engineering School is called CIT. The whole place, including the Drama etc. school, is called CMU.
ANYONE - which one is better - which would be better for a job/grad school?

Cal Tech is supposed to be tops in computer engineering, on par with MIT. Our neighbor was admitted to both, chose Cal Tech, has great job now in Silicon Valley.

Carnegie Mellon is #2 in America after MIT in ECE; #1 for CS.

anything related to computers/robotics
CMU>CalTech
any other science field
CalTech>CMU
altough both are really excellent schools. Granted CMU has a great Arts Program and excellent buisiness school, something the 1 dimensional CalTech Lacks. Caltech is all hardcore science
