I love my APCS class, but I've heard that CS can get really boring into college. What do you know of it?

Well that really depends on your interests, doesn't it? Some people who just love to code don't like (or don't see the utility of) more abstract topics such as analysis of algorithms, computational complexity theory, formal languages and grammars. I think the requisite discrete math course is usually roundly disdained. On the other hand, if you have more mathematical bent, you might like all of these things. Of course, it also depends on the program, as to what programming languages are favored for most work, and such.

Basically, you should go to the web sites for several CS departments and look up the degree requirements, and then look up descriptions of these classes in the course catalog to see what they are about. Then you could probably ask a more pointed question.
