Does anyone know about Canadian Universities?If Canada and USA universities are ranked together,which places will the top Canada Universites get?
Does anyone have a rank in which Canada and USA universities are ranked together?Please post it here if convinient.

Even I am in search of such a comparitive ranking, but so far got such a list only for electrical engineering, which is :

Well overall I would have to say that American universities are better and would rank higher. Comparative undergraduate rankings are generally not released though. (Canadian universities are not even ranked between themselves officially). One very big plus of Canadian universities is that tution is very low, and not near as much required by American. Ultimately i think that if you can afford to go to America, then you should go there. If not, then you should strongly consider Canada.

I would have to disagree with Marwanzeibak. The University of Toronto and McGill University are amongst the most prestigious universities in the world. Obviously, several American universities would rank higher but I'm sure if they did rank them together, at least one or two Canadian universities would definitely make the top 25.

this is a tough one. I got accepted to Amherst College, UPenn and possibly MIT. but today, I got acceptance letter from McGill. which one should I go to? Amherst College is offering me US$32,000. Upenn is giving me 33,000 scholarship. McGill gave me 5,000 ENTERING scholarship. *confused*

Hmmm,,,thats a little bit difficult. I would immediately put it down to Amherst and UPenn. (I like the American education more, and I feel it is recognized more widely). Plus, UPenn and Amherst are two of the best schools in America. I guess it should come down to which program you like best. Do you like the smaller liberal arts education in Amherst or the bigger university education in UPenn? They're both great schools and basically equal in standard, so I guess it should come down to which school you like best and where you think you would be happiest and most comfortable.
