Anyone know anything about grad programs in France?

I'm looking to do grad work (maitrise, dea, doctorat) in philosophy/cogpsychology/cog sci...

Already know what I need to do in terms of language requirements but here I am hoping to get some input into the schools themselves.

There are 87 public universities there.
Does anyone know where the strong ones are for the programs I'm interested in?

Anyone know anything else useful about these universities?

Thanks!
