Which schools are good for undergrad accounting? I was considering NYU Stern because it's a good business school overall. Are there ones that specialize in accounting?

This may be an unpopular opinion, but as someone who is currently working in accounting (albeit not a CPA and without a degree whatsoever) as head of the department....
Accounting is one of those degrees that you can get at just about any school that is strong over all. Especially when you are looking at undergrad. You'll want to look a little more carefully when you decide to go to grad school (which you'll want to do to be very competitive--also get your CPA), but for undergrad I suggest you find a school that you really like that offers it as a major.

Many good schools for accounting. Typically, Texas-Austin (McCombs), Illinois-Urbana Champaign, Michigan-Ann Arbor, USC (Marshall), Wharton, NYU (Stern) etc... are all good. But like Demingy says, you can pretty much get your degree from any respectable university and be all set.
