what are my chances at UVA, Vanderbilt, UNC Chapel Hil, Bowdoin, Carleton?
also can someone tell me some draws/specialties each school has if i have a chance there?

You have a good shot at all those schools. If you are an in-state student at Virginia or NC, you are pretty much in.

I can comment on the LACs you list, both of which I would describe as matches for you. (Make sure you write a first-rate common app essay.) As for specialties, Bowdoin has an excellent environmental studies program and Carleton very strong math and computer science. However, the main draw for both is strength across all departments. Both are excellent in the natural sciences, and english, economics, history and poli sci/government are very good. You don't ask about this, but you might find Carleton students (as a group) to be slightly more friendly and open.
