A whole bunch of LACs have excellent English deparments: Carleton, Pomona, Davidson, Kenyon, Wesleyan, Middlebury, Occidental, Barnard, Smith and many more

Kenyon probably has the most well known English department of any of the LACs and students also have an opportunity to work on the Kenyon Review which is a famous literary magazine. However, many, many top LACs have top notch departments.
