Hey everyone,

just as i mentioned about 4 days ago, i opened up a site where everyone can upload pictures of their colleges, or colleges they have visited.

I just set this up about 2 hours ago, so it's still in beta stage so to say.

When you get to the site, the states are listed alphabetically. Inside those states, i will eventually try to add as many colleges as possible. As of now, i only added colleges for California (all the UC's, USC and Stanford). i simply haven't had the time to add the rest. However, you can still upload your pictures.
Put them in the "GENERAL" category for now. In the "Image Name" field, include the name of the college so i can add the category.

Please give the site a try. I really think it could become rather popular, as i alawys run into people who want to see pictures of colleges outside of the college website.

Eventually, i will try to add more things to the site. For now, it's just the gallery. Over the next few days, i will change the design and stuff like that. For now, please give it a try

Haha I can't figure out how to upload pictures at all. I mean, I go to General but the "upload" button is grayed out so that it's unclickable.

Er, heh heh, play to the beat, I need help. I uploaded the wrong picture as "Washington and Lee University- Home of Robert E. Lee / University President" but then I uploaded the right one with (Real) next to the title. I need the first one deleted, please.

I think you should add an about me page to the User Profile, because I am somewhat hesitant about loading my pics, because some I have entered in competitions and had published. That way I could clarify they are my personal pictures or something...and also an option to load more than 1 photo would be awesome...

a lightbox is kinda like your "favorites" folder.
you can save images to that that you want to be able to find easily

you can delete your own images, that you uploaded.

when you're looking at the image, scroll down on the page and right underneath it there is an "Edit" and "Delete" link

ok, i see the delete link once i log in. I uploaded the first image as a guest, though, so I can't delete it (the link is broken). Can you delete it? Otherwise, the 1st image will just be a broken link...

how many megs can this site hold? I've got about 30 high-quality photos of Cornell and about 20 of CMU.

it would be great if you could upload your high quality photos!! the biggest problem you might run into is that they can be no more than 1800pixels x 1800 pixels in demension, and no more than 3meg in size. the reason for that is sometimes, if you upload like a 4 or 5 meg file, the script simply times out.

the site can hold i think 200 megs RIGHT NOW, but i can increase that if i need to



and like i said, if the site develops and becomes something that a lot of people use, ill definately move it to a new server.
