My friend is looking for pre-veterinary schools. She knows about Tufts and U.Penn, and has heard good things about Florida colleges (ie: U.Florida and U.Miami.) Could anyone supply a list of great pre-vet schools to look at?
My friend is also interested in acting and singing, so vet schools with decent arts programs (at least in extracurriculars) would be great too.

UC Davis, Cal Poly Pomona, and any other school with a strong Animal Science department.

I am not that up on this. I know someone who wanted that field who applied but did not get into, Cornell. Look into their animal sciences program. Also, a girl from our high school, one of the top students, is going to University of Vermont for this and I am not sure how this works but she is not only in pre-vet but she already knows she will be going to Tufts Vet School, one of the best there is. I don't know if this is a special program or not but I have even seen it in writing that she is in the UVM program as an undergrad (just finished freshman year) and will be going onto the Tufts Vet School....so I guess there is some kind of joint arrangement you can apply to.

Either of the two Cal Polys have great pre-vet programs.
