Hey,
I recieved a Baruch brochure in the mail and became interested. It seems nice, based on the information provided. I want to complete my requirements for med. school but major in marketing/advertising and get a degree. Does Baruch have a good marketing program? Because I've heard that its accounting program is good, but what about the other programs.

I attended Baruch 38 years ago. It had a great program in all areas of business and had incredibly cheap tuition. At the time, they paid their professors among the top in the nation and got some great people. However, I majored in accounting; thus, I can't really answer your question. You need to visit the school and check it out. Although Baruch is good,there are better schools in marketing,but they are usually out of state.

One other benefit of Baruch is that it has a large, strong alumni association that tends to take care of each other with jobs etc.

I concur, you should visit. You also should do some independent research on the school and its resources. All brochures tend to gloss over the negatives.
