Okay, so I'm getting into these 4 schools, and I would like to compare them... please comment on how their engineering programs compare.

Cornell University (Ithaca, NY)
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, NY)
Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Worcester, MA)
Northwestern University (Evanston, IL)

Definitely Cornell!

WPI and RPI accepted me... WPI offered me full tuition... Cornell and Northwestern look promising... my first choice is certainly Cornell! I hear it has a great location and atmosphere. If anyone could please give insight on these schools, please let me know! I'm gonna visit Cornell the weekend of April 11.

Cornell is an awesome school. I am biased, so I guess the best thing to do is check it out for yourself. It looks like you'll be doing that in a few weeks, which is good.

Sirokai--

It has a great location and atmosphere? Excuse the internet lingo, but... LOL. It's in the middle of nowhere, with a bunch of kids who are either insecure about the prestige of their school, or so stressed out that they constantly think about killing themselves. Yeah, GREAT atmosphere if you ask me. I'd go to NU--it's the most well known of them all, and although Cornell is a better engineering school, I can only assume you’ll be surrounded by a bunch of elitists who shove the “Ivy League” label in everyone’s face whenever they’re feeling a bit unconfident in their school (since Cornell is almost unanimously considered the ‘Joke Ivy.’)
